Watucandi’s newest product is here to meet the need for aesthetic, sturdy, and long-lasting outdoor flooring. Stone Decking Parquet Mosaic Flooring made from Merapi lava stone is a premium flooring solution that combines natural beauty with the strength of volcanic material. Crafted with meticulous handcraftsmanship, this product can be customized to suit various needs and preferences.
The lava stone sourced directly from the Mount Merapi region has distinctive color characteristics, ranging from natural deep black, dark gray, to occasionally reddish brown patterns that enrich its visual appearance. This unique color makes each stone piece have its own distinct character, creating a floor that is never boring to look at.
One of the special features of Merapi lava stone is its ability to display different color characteristics depending on the condition. When dry, the stone appears gray with a dense texture, while when wet, its deep black color becomes more prominent. This difference is actually an attractive point for architects and designers who want to create a visual interplay on their natural stone decking floors.
Parquet is a type of flooring applied to enhance the aesthetics of a building, both for interior and exterior or outdoor spaces. Generally, parquet is made from wood, vinyl, or other solid materials. However, natural stone parquet offers its own advantages, especially in terms of resistance to weather, humidity, and extreme temperature changes.
Decking serves as an outdoor floor covering which is also often called an outdoor floor. Although commonly used in open areas such as patios, gardens, balconies, or pool areas, natural stone decking can also be applied as wall cladding, both indoors and outdoors. This flexibility makes it a very versatile choice for various architectural needs.
The main advantage of the Merapi Lava Stone Decking Parquet Mosaic Flooring is its resistance to all weather conditions. Unlike wooden floors that easily rot or vinyl that can fade, lava stone flooring is proven to withstand hot sun, heavy rain, and even extreme temperature changes. This volcanic material will not expand or contract significantly, ensuring long term durability.
